Requirements

Associates or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics field
More than 3 years of experience in a Logistics Department
Familiarity with important and export regulations, commodity classification.
Strong Computer skills: MS Office, SAP, TMS, others.
Strong Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others
Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Strong Communication Skills- Conveying information effectively.
Accurate, accountable, and detail oriented
Strong logistics operations, automatization and management skill
Ability to coordinate and schedule outside suppliers and internal departments
Ability to learn and adapt to evolving processes

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound shipments via ocean, air, truck and parcel carriers.
Monitor and track shipments from origin to final destination.
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, custom brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery.
Resolve transportation delays, shipment discrepancies, and freight issues.
Maintain shipment records and logistics documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Processing receiving registration in SAP
Prepare and review export shipping documents (E.g. Commercial invoice, SLI, DG Declaration).
Coordinate freight pickups and export shipments with logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and company export control procedures.
Maintain export logs and records
Support import and export compliance activities.
Verify accuracy of shipment documents, tariff classifications, and logistics records.
Maintain required documentation in accordance with customs and regulatory requirements.
Assist with customs audits, recordkeeping, and process documentation
Coordinate operational activities with third-party warehouses and service providers.
Process logistics transactions and support order fulfillment activities.
Maintain transportation and warehouse performance metrics.
Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs and improve operational performance.
Reconciliation and approval of freight cost.
Assist with inventory-related logistics activities as needed.
Support cross-functional projects involving Supply Chain, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Finance.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and service levels.
Assist with the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support implementation of new logistics processes, systems, and automation initiatives.
