Coordinate import and export activities of finished goods, components, and raw material. Manage the replenishment of finished good stock warehouse. Perform other duties as per requests of superiors within agreed job competences.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, together with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Logistics, preferably in MNC manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure in an ISO certified (EMS & QMS) manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience with import/export documentation required
  • Previous experience using a transportation management system (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Replenish the stocks for the North American Warehouse (NAW) based on agreed safety stocks, forecast (if available) and take-outs.
  • Maintain stocks at a reasonable and agreed level and ensure inventory turns
  • Review contracts, especially stock agreements/commitments on regular basis.
  • Draw attention to the items that don’t meet requirements of stock agreement.
  • Create, review, and file necessary import/export shipping documentation required to support international logistics activities.
  • Review and support Export and Import Classification (ECCN, Schedule B, USHTS) activities.
  • Responsible for COO calculations and completion of FTA documents
  • Maintain records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Auditing customs clearance documentation, broker entry accuracy, and record retention.
  • Act as backup for outbound logistics coordinator for daily shipping arrangements and invoicing.
  • Responsible for coordinating delivery appointments and setup of inbound transportation as needed
  • Coordinate flow of materials and finished goods between plant and local 3PL
  • Participate in implementation, maintenance, and improvement for ISO 14001 (EMS), 9001 (QMS), and Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) in the company
  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and instructions.
  • Use PPE and safety equipment as required.
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices to supervisors immediately.
  • Participate in safety training and drills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimize hazards.
