The Logistics Coordinator II is responsible for current accountability for travel retail inbound/outbound process both systems/paperwork and physical work. This role ensures that all merchandise is processed in a timely manner and within workplace guidelines, processes and prepares paperwork for shipping/receiving (inbound and outbound), and performs detailed paperwork to be entered into the inventory system. The position also ensures that all safety procedures are followed, provides excellent customer service as a liaison between the warehouse department and customer, and waves all orders for daily production. Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator II ensures all rush orders from the customer are waved and shipped, runs the inbound priority report, and serves as backup for inbound and yard dispatch. This role supplies the customer with daily operational reports, works closely with the customer on product allocation, and assists on special reports for location managers as well as the customer. The position also involves training and developing staff on SAP, troubleshooting system issues, controlling all diversion of containers for customer warehouses, analyzing inventory for possible transfers, and backing up customer allocation and transportation management. Further responsibilities include analysis of space capability and volumes, creating and posting transfer loads for customers, running the inbound priority list, ensuring the Ryder Yard Management System is up to date and identifying ways to improve the process, and analyzing fill rate and reporting back to the customer for all outbound orders. Performs other duties as assigned.
