Requirements

  • Trained in hazmat shipping general awareness.
  • Basic computer skills, inventory analysis.
  • Basic math skills
  • Good oral and written communication with strong emphasis on follow-up and organizational capability.
  • Computer skills - Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of experience in a shipping and receiving environment and knowledge of hazmat shipments.
  • Trained and certified in 49CFR, IATA and IMDG shipping modes and/or hazmat general awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Create paperwork, Bills of lading, certificates of analysis, packing lists, SDS and documents for domestic and export orders.
  • Interacts with Customer service, production, planning and QC Labs in order to obtain order status and changes.
  • Communicate with carriers and customers to schedule shipment pick-ups and to provide shipment status.
  • Monitor Shipping group email and respond to inquiries as needed.
  • Revise and update daily pegging reports and follow up with Logistics Manager on order status.
  • This position works within the established policies and procedures of the exports global guidelines.
  • Provide excellent communication internally to cross functional teams.
  • Process sample shipments depending on site need
  • Assist management with other functions related to logistics as needed.
  • Pick and pack domestic and international orders based on customer needs.
  • Timely loading and unloading of outbound and inbound trucks.
  • Assist on dock when needed.
  • Commitment to Robertet and SQF Quality Standards and continuous improvement of the quality management systems.
  • Resolve shipment issues and manage return shipments from suppliers and customers.
