About The Position

Ethic Tech, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Logistics Clerk to support a Property Accountability contract for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4 Logistics Operations Division, located at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position provides full-time, on-site support in a traditional office environment, with occasional outdoor work as required. The Logistics Clerk will work closely with Government and contractor personnel across multiple functional areas, offices, and leadership levels to support logistics operations, property accountability, materiel management, and fielding activities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced operational environment. Experience supporting Army logistics operations, materiel accountability, and documentation associated with Materiel Release (MR), Type Classification (TC), and modernization efforts is highly desired.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of related logistics, property accountability, supply, or administrative support experience.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and collaborating with Government and contractor personnel to support logistics operations and mission requirements.
  • Knowledge of cataloging procedures for material and equipment.
  • Experience using GCSS-Army and other applicable logistics systems of record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required licenses or certifications for equipment operation.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours on short notice based on mission or workload requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, customers, and Government personnel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience using inventory management databases and documentation control systems.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • An active Secret security clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Materiel Release (MR) activities preferred.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE), such as forklifts and box trucks, preferred.
  • DAU Life Cycle Logistics Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support across all facets of Department of Defense (DoD) and Army logistics operations.
  • Support cataloging and accountability of materiel, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist Government personnel with planning, coordination, management, and oversight of Materiel Release (MR), Type Classification (TC), and fielding activities.
  • Review and maintain documentation related to the operation, maintenance, and accountability of systems and equipment.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support for inbound and outbound logistical operations.
  • Manage the central receiving point for incoming shipments, including receiving, logging, securing, and coordinating delivery or pickup of materials.
  • Receive and account for deliveries to the loading dock, including classified packages, until transferred to the responsible office.
  • Coordinate inventory management, warehousing, storage, transportation, and distribution activities to support operational requirements and optimize inventory levels.
  • Perform logistics support services including receipt, storage, put-away, order fulfillment, shipment preparation, and related customer service activities.
  • Support sourcing, purchasing, receiving, dispatching, and related logistics functions.
  • Work with Government leads to obtain and maintain safety, suitability, and supportability documentation.
  • Ensure logistics activities are conducted in accordance with applicable Army regulations and guidance, including but not limited to: AR 70-1, AR 700-127, DA PAM 700-127, AR 770-3, DA PAM 770-3.
  • Track and follow up on action items, suspense items, and project-related tasks.
  • Assist with risk identification, mitigation, tracking, management, and resolution efforts.
  • Utilize Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools for meetings, file sharing, communication, and coordination activities.
  • Support destruction of classified materials, including management of shred logs, shred bins, and coordination with approved shredding services.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, databases, and filing systems in support of logistics and property accountability operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract and mission requirements.
