As a Tool Crib Operator, you will play a key role in supporting internal teams by managing the distribution, return, and tracking of tools, fixtures, and calibration equipment. This entry-level logistics position requires strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work in both cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments. The role involves frequent walking and extended periods of standing while moving between buildings to meet operational demands. You’ll be expected to adhere to strict safety and contamination control protocols and provide schedule flexibility, including occasional overtime and weekend support as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic technical skills with the ability to handling tools and calibration equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs without assistance.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with inventory and calibration management systems such as SAP, IndySoft, or eQuip.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and receive all tools, fixtures, and calibration assets for internal departments and external vendors.
  • Deliver calibration-due items to Metrology multiple times daily, based on customer pickup schedules.
  • Enter and track calibration data in IndySoft and maintain accurate records of asset movement.
  • Verify asset status in eQuip prior to issuing to customers.
  • Maintain and update calibration records and revision forms; provide support for extensions, priority forms, and WRS requests.
  • Monitor daily asset movement using Excel and submit weekly reports for eQuip updates.
  • Help identify and locate government assets for the property team.
  • Assist customers with the setup and operation of humidity monitors, dry box meters, and gauges.
  • Provide hands-on support inside and outside cleanroom environments to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform support tasks involving specialised equipment such as ALCONOX, hot plates, high vacuum systems, ultrasonic cleaners, DI water systems, extractors, and dryers.
  • Ensure correct handling, use, and documentation of all HTOP tools and processes.
