The Logistics Claim Operator is responsible for reviewing new claim submissions, ensuring all required documentation and details are included. This role involves filing and managing shortage claims based on investigation reports, theft notifications, or warehouse incident reports, as well as investigating and processing damage claims based on return authorizations and QC reports. The operator will communicate with logistics service providers (LSP) to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution, thoroughly review claim declinations, and dispute invalid resolutions to negotiate settlements. Key tasks include analyzing data to determine claim validity, evaluating independent reports, compiling comprehensive claim analyses for monthly client reporting, and assessing contractual agreements to mitigate loss. The position also requires notifying involved parties of claim filings or rejections and escalating high-value declinations to management.
