About The Position

The purpose of the Amazon Dedicated Assoc. Analyst is to serve as the primary hybrid account manager and broker for PLCI’s Amazon business, supporting the L9 Carrier Development team lead in managing the day-to-day execution of one of PLCI’s highest-volume accounts. This role is responsible for scheduling, tendering, issue resolution, and carrier booking across Amazon’s freight portfolio. The position requires a hands-on operator who can balance account management responsibilities with brokerage execution, ensuring service excellence, cost optimization, and margin delivery on every load.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage high-volume scheduling and tendering workflows with accuracy and urgency
  • 1-3+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight brokerage; dedicated account or high-volume operational experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to execute under pressure and manage competing priorities in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
  • Strong understanding of freight brokerage market dynamics, carrier negotiation, and rate management to support both account management and load execution
  • Ability to provide real-time brokerage pricing and make booking decisions that balance service commitments with margin targets
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external carrier partners
  • Ability to secure carrier capacity during tight market conditions and peak demand cycles
  • Strong team player and committed to teamwork in all situations
  • Proficiency with TMS platforms (Mastermind preferred) and comfort navigating multiple systems simultaneously
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to drive the business forward

Responsibilities

  • Own daily scheduling and tendering for Amazon freight, ensuring loads are covered on time and within margin targets
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for Amazon service issues – drive proactive resolution of complaints, delays, and accessorial disputes
  • Maintain deep working knowledge of Amazon’s supply chain requirements, scheduling systems, delivery expectations, and evolving operational standards
  • Source, negotiate, and book carriers to cover Amazon loads, building a reliable carrier base that delivers consistent service and cost performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with the L9 Carrier Development team lead, Operations, and Account Management to align on capacity plans, prebook targets, and service-level commitments
  • Track and report on key performance metrics including BIN%, prebook/sameday mix, margin per load, and loads per day to support continuous improvement on the Amazon book
