About The Position

Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Associate I to join their team in Joliet, IL. This role is crucial in supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. The Logistics Associate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and shipping customer orders on time. This is a hands-on position offering the chance to develop skills in a dynamic environment while upholding a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
1 year of warehouse experience
1 year of stand-up reach truck experience
No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Responsibilities

Pick customer orders using a scanner or tablet and stack them onto pallets
Stage and label completed orders accurately for shipment
Operate material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts
Verify product quantities, labeling, and packaging quality against packing lists and SAP records
Inspect packaging and contents for damage or quality issues
Coordinate with customer service, production, and packaging teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment
Assemble shipping boxes, prepare labels, and manage packaging induction
Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets for outbound shipments
Identify and report quantity discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead
Maintain a clean and organized picking area using 5S principles
Support inventory control by updating databases and participating in cycle counts
Ensure the freight sorting area is organized and follows established stocking guidelines
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and policies
Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and warehouse operations
