About The Position

The Logistics Associate handles shipping and receiving activities, including unloading elevators, staging truck shipments in the Shipping Area, processing customer returns and UPS orders, and loading designated orders onto Teknor or outside trucks. The associate ensures shipments are stretch-wrapped when needed and maintains a clean, neat, and safe shipping-dock work area. Forklifts must be checked daily before operation. Experience with Teknor Apex computer systems is preferred.

Requirements

• Able to read and comprehend English.
• Good math skills.
• Able to drive or learn to drive a forklift and use an electric hand truck.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to work at Teknor Apex.

• Experience with Teknor Apex computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Unload elevators.
• Stage truck shipments in the Shipping Area.
• Process customer returns.
• Process UPS orders through the UPS system.
• Load designated orders onto Teknor or outside trucks and ensure stretch wrapping is provided when needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area on the shipping dock.
• Check the forklift daily before operating it.
