As a Logistics Associate, you will provides support to manage controls around receipt, storage and shipment of Raw Materials and Finished Goods in a cGMP environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years experience in warehouse environment, inventory control systems
  • Material handling experience including fork lift training
  • Understanding of GSK processes and Systems
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge in team building and customer care
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Basic computer literacy; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Basic reading, writing and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Process all MERPS related transactions including Goods Receipts, Transfer Orders, Destroy Orders, Inventory adjustments, etc.
  • Complete inspections and maintain records for truck inspection, material handling equipment and department safety inspections, etc.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move stock or organize materials
  • Perform receipt and delivery of parcels to all site personnel
  • Ensure inventory levels remain accurate in SAP and perform periodic inventory counts
  • Complete all training assignments in a timely manner
  • Train new warehouse staff on use of all GSK systems and practices including MERPS, MyLearning, CDMS, safety policies and cGMP requirements
  • Execute the shipping of Bulk Products following established procedures to insure quality integrity and on time delivery
  • Arrange for removal of Hazardous waste from the warehouse and help enforce proper labeling of Hazardous waste material
  • Keep Warehouse SOPs updated and accurate, ensuring area adheres to all Zoning and 5S implementation
