The Material Handler will facilitate the movement of all incoming and outgoing materials, including any supporting paperwork ensuring all is in compliance with all cGMP / Quality Assurance / Safety policies and procedures as mandated by CMTI’s written procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior warehouse experience required; 3+ years preferred.
  • Experience supporting off‑shift or non‑standard work hours as business needs require.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours), lift up to 60 lbs as needed, climb stairs/ladders and work at heights, and safely operate in loud environments while wearing required PPE, including respirators and hearing protection.

Nice To Haves

  • Fork Truck Certification, IATA/DOT certification, and Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive API and supplies in accordance with CMTI SOPs and client-specific requirements, including documentation generation in Oracle.
  • Utilize site scheduling tools to track receipts, sampling, and shipments, ensuring sitewide visibility and coordination.
  • Perform product sampling per procedures, including operation and programming of TruScan RM tools.
  • Coordinate daily with Tech Services, QA, clients, and logistics partners to prioritize and execute timely receipts and shipments.
  • Manage domestic and international hazardous material shipments, maintaining IATA/DOT certification and compliance.
  • Operate shipping systems (FedEx, DGIS) and coordinate courier scheduling while ensuring adherence to regulatory and courier-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory in Oracle, including receipt, storage, movement tracking, cycle counts, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
  • Support warehouse operations including material handling, internal transfers, storage, and delivery of materials to support production activities.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and PPE requirements while maintaining warehouse organization, cleanliness, and audit readiness.
  • Perform general warehouse and operational support tasks, including equipment maintenance (e.g., forklifts), waste handling, documentation/log completion, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Other duties as assigned.
