About The Position

The Logistics and Supply Specialist is responsible for supporting comprehensive logistics operations, property control, stock management, and supply accountability. This position manages troop issue subsistence items, Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE), and related supply transactions in support of Department of Defense operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in maintaining accurate logistics and property records in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in unit supply, an Army S4 shop, mobility support, logistics support, or related support to a DoD organization.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing requirements.
  • Ability to function effectively in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Knowledge of property accountability, supply transactions, hand receipts, sub-hand receipts, and administrative adjustment documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience providing logistical or mobility support within a Department of Defense environment.
  • Experience working with Army supply operations, property books, OCIE, and subsistence item management.
  • Familiarity with Army S4 operations and applicable supply accountability processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and resolve supply documentation issues.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting mission-driven team requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive property control and stock management functions.
  • Handle troop issue subsistence items and Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE).
  • Process property transactions, including issues, turn-ins, and lateral transfers.
  • Maintain property book records through hand receipts, sub-hand receipts, and administrative adjustment documents.
  • Ensure supply documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Coordinate with customers, internal teams, and DoD stakeholders to support supply and logistics requirements.
  • Maintain accountability of assigned property and equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of supply and logistics support.
