About The Position

ORBIS is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support transportation operations and drive process improvements across our supply chain network. In this role, you will collaborate with manufacturing plants, suppliers, carriers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient, cost‑effective, and high‑performing logistics operations. You’ll play a key role in analyzing transportation data, improving processes, and supporting both day‑to‑day logistics execution and long‑term operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify trends.
  • Understanding of transportation and logistics systems, including carrier networks and cost drivers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to obtain a passport required.

Nice To Haves

  • bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with SAP/ERP systems and supply chain software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily logistics operations for domestic and international shipments.
  • Partner with plant teams on material planning, inventory management, and material movement.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers to resolve operational issues and improve service levels.
  • Analyze freight cost, carrier performance, and service levels to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and report key logistics metrics using TMS reporting tools.
  • Assist with implementation and testing of new processes and system enhancements.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration across logistics, purchasing, finance, supply chain, and operations teams.
  • Provide training to plants, suppliers, and internal users on logistics processes and systems.
  • Support carrier payment processes and logistics reporting activities.
