To be eligible for a SkillBridge, you must meet the following requirements: Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29. Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date. Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command. What You Will Do Training & mentorship opportunities include, but are not limited to: Provide logistics and transportation support across multiple programs. Plan, organize, and direct material movements to meet cost and delivery requirements. Facilitate the flow of goods and services to meet customer schedule requirements. Support daily logistics needs, including creating activity logs in SAP/ALCS and performing system-related tasks based on program requirements. Process shipments through government systems and coordinate deliveries with DCMA and common carriers. Work independently on moderately complex tasks with minimal oversight. Support warehouse and packaging operations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than two (2) years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with either Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Import/Export requirements and hazardous material management.
  • Knowledge of DD250 creation and submission process.
  • SAP Knowledge PRISM, WAWF, USG Freight Management Systems.
  • Non-Commissioned Officer/ Junior Military Officer Experience
  • Regulatory/Audit compliance and corrective action experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with the ability to provide quick responses and a high degree of flexibility.
  • Knowledge of government contracts.
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  • Advanced computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Must be willing to work in a warehouse environment when required.
