A Logistics Analyst is responsible for the coordination and oversight of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of safety, customer experience, and productivity. The role involves analyzing daily route information, implementing changes for efficiency and accuracy using an internal routing platform, and responding to same-day or next-day service needs. The analyst will also manage driver safety, interpret logistics data, communicate with drivers, evaluate driver performance, and create optimized routes to maximize profitability. They will monitor daily routing activities, resolve issues to ensure on-time pickup and delivery, assess the need for swing routes, and determine if service requests can be pulled forward to drive efficiency and enhance customer experience. The position requires courteous interaction with customers, ensuring routes are designed for safety and efficiency, and prioritizing customer promises. Daily call center communication updates, continuous assessments, and communications are required to reduce missed pickups and improve communication between the division and customers. The analyst will evaluate route issues causing delays, communicate with impacted customers, and review routing media to process service exceptions and general messages to meet customer needs, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
