About The Position

Last Mile Operations at Target is responsible for moving E-Commerce shipments from our unique Omnichannel fulfillment network to our Guests’ homes as well as supporting the growth of a variety of digital marketplace strategies. Target continues to focus on ways to increase speed to guests, enable new digital capabilities, and drive top line growth for the business. Servicing logistics and transportation of a large scale, distributed network with high volumes means simultaneous attention to day-to-day detail as well as the ability to step back and think strategically to drive change within Target and with our carriers to provide a best-in-class Guest experience. As a Logistics Analyst – Shipt Operations, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operational excellence for Target Last Mile Delivery and Same Day Delivery. You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), data, and metrics, to identify, execute and drive improvement through root cause defect reduction. Your work will focus on driving strong results in cost, service, speed, and sustainability. You will need to connect and work collaboratively with internal partners, technical teams, product teams, and field teams. Strong problem solving skills, ability to drive change, self-motivated execution, and being a collaborative team player are essential skills for this role. It is important you are comfortable working in ambiguous situations, are adaptable to change, and able to execute vital processes in multiple systems.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience operating and executing in complex systems
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills
• Ability to analyze data in Excel or other analytical tools
• Creative approach to problem solving
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Ability to set goals or outcomes and track and communicate progress
• Can make decisions with little to no guidance from manager or other leaders
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in distribution or transportation
• Experience with SQL and proficient in Excel
