This role involves supporting defense acquisition and sustainment milestones through life cycle logistics planning and execution. The Logistics Analyst will provide logistics and maintenance expertise for aircraft, mission systems, or Support Equipment (SE) programs. Key activities include conducting logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses, and offering recommendations to tailor, optimize, and establish logistics element requirements for various programs. The position also entails providing recommendations for changes to site support, covering aspects like maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, SE, training and training devices, technical data packaging, handling, storage and transportation, and facilities. Additionally, the analyst will deliver or recommend the development of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, including Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) management plans.
