A Logistics Analyst is responsible for the coordination and oversight of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers. Key aspects include understanding route sequencing, resolving missed pickups, creating optimized routes for profitability, monitoring daily routing activities, and assessing the need for swing routes. The position requires the ability to adapt to unexpected situations and adjust plans throughout the day, understand daily disposal plans, and determine if service requests can be pulled forward to enhance efficiency and customer experience. The role also includes interacting courteously with customers, ensuring route designs promote safety and efficiency, analyzing customer promises, updating call center communications, and reducing missed pickups. The analyst must evaluate route issues causing delays, communicate with impacted customers, and review routing media to process service exceptions and ensure customer needs are met, ultimately aiming for the highest level of customer satisfaction.
