About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst in support of our NMESIS contract in Hanahan, SC. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for performing system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems. They will control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from origin to customer placement to meet customer requirements. This may include planning, scheduling, and managing the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. The role involves developing raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and managing material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. Additionally, the analyst ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes, encompassing maintenance, supply, transportation, and logistics plans. Key logistics functions include program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management, and supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance

Responsibilities

Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision.
