A Logistics Analyst is responsible for the coordination and oversight of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of safety, customer experience, and productivity. The role involves analyzing daily route information, implementing changes for efficiency, and responding to same-day or next-day planning needs. The analyst will also manage driver safety, analyze logistics data, communicate with drivers, evaluate driver performance, and create optimized routes for profitability. They will monitor daily routing activities, assess the need for swing routes, and determine optimal disposal sites. Additionally, the analyst will evaluate service requests for efficiency and customer experience, interact courteously with customers, and ensure route designs promote safety and efficiency. Continuous assessment and communication are required to reduce missed pickups and improve communication channels. The analyst will evaluate route issues causing delays, communicate with impacted customers, and process service exceptions to meet customer needs, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
