About The Position

Advanced Technology & Research Corporation (ATRCORP) is seeking a full-time permanent Logistics Analyst to join their Engineering Services Division. This mid-level Navy Acquisition Logistics Analyst position is located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, MD. The role involves working on world-class military programs supporting the US Navy's Warfare technology within the Air Systems Engineering Branch. The applicant will work on-site with the Air Systems Engineering team, with some off-site work from home available weekly. Responsibilities include supporting the development, acquisition, production, fielding, and life cycle support for Navy Air systems in collaboration with logistics leads and engineers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma with 10 years experience or Bachelors Degree from accredited institution, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, business or related field with 5+ years experience.
  • Understanding of Logistics IPS (Integrated Product Support) elements.
  • Experience drafting logistics supporting documentation, i.e., LCSP (Life Cycle Sustainment Plan), Demil plans (Demilitarization plan), technical manual drafting/updating.
  • Experience developing integrated logistics schedules.
  • Experience identifying logistics risks to program cost, schedule and performance.
  • Experience with analysis report writing and weekly report writing.
  • Experience with tracking action items and obtaining status information.
  • Experience with taking meeting minutes and presenting the minutes in an organized manner.
  • Possess strong MS Office skills to include, but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Possess excellent verbal/written communications skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest and aptitude for working on complex technical projects and teams in a fast paced environment while managing multiple assignments.
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical customers and external teammates to understand their issues, frame potential solutions and develop collaborative projects.
  • Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation.

Nice To Haves

  • DAU (Defense Acquisition University) or industry certification in logistics is advantageous.
  • Acquisition/life cycle logistics experience with Navy is desirable.
  • Experience working with aviation ordnance or energetic systems is a plus.
  • Experience with logistics data systems such as FLIS, Haystack, etc. is a plus.
  • Current successful background investigation completion is a plus.

Responsibilities
