About The Position

Caladwich Consulting, LLC is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to perform logistics support services in support of the Customer Supply Center (CSC)’s Fourth-Party Logistics (4PL) Program at Camp Pendleton, CA. The 4PL program integrates the supply chain under a single point of oversight, offering commercial efficiencies such as favorable pricing, just-in-time inventory, a broader range of products, and standardized ordering, packaging, documentation, and billing processes for industrial products and supplies. The Logistics Analyst will assist with material management, analytical support, inventory/asset management, information processing, logistics program management, and associated administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Dept. of War (Formerly DoD) supply chain management
  • Thorough understanding of Government Logistics processes and/or Air Force specific SCM processes.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including formal document preparation and report drafting.
  • Must be comfortable in fast paced, government contracting climate.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be eligible for Secret Clearance OR Public Trust
  • Must be eligible to access government systems to include U.S. Military installation’s.
  • Must be able to pass background investigations including a FBI fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) adjudication.

Responsibilities

  • Accomplish data gathering and analysis in assigned areas of responsibility under detailed supervision.
  • Support definition and validation of requirements, performance assessment, and development of logistics specifications.
  • Assist in preparing material for inclusion in preliminary and final reports.
  • Develop tactical and strategic acquisition strategies to support program execution and mission success.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data input for internal and external GSA customers by providing customer service, reviewing and processing sales transactions, inputting receipts, and scanning/entering correct 4PL part numbers into the GSA’s Point of Sale (“POS”) system.
  • Validate sales receipts, provide sales receipts to customers, and process customer returns.
  • Update files/binders with various data reports, Safety Data Sheets (“SDS”), instructions, process changes, procedures, and policy updates.
  • Notify and work with the GSA Store Manager and other CSC personnel to resolve discrepancies, recording research and maintaining/filing documentation in compliance with federal standards, SOPs, and Desk Guides.
  • Provide general administrative support services, including sorting and distribution of email and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Assist customers with locating product(s).
  • Perform cashier-like duties: validate price, product, quantity, and final sales transaction.
  • Ensure checkout areas are free of debris and clutter, and assist customers with loading purchased items into their vehicles if requested.
