About The Position

The Distribution Center Logistics Administrator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all administrative functions at the Broadway Distribution Center. This role works closely with the Logistics Director and Warehouse Manager to support daily office operations related to inbound and outbound shipping activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years office administration experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations, develop solutions, and implement effective plans.
  • Type of Equipment Operated: Includes frequently used office equipment, computer software programs, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, SAP, copier/printer. Office Equipment: Computer, Copier, Fax machine.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred (Epicor experience a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Own the creation, review, and management of all outbound shipping documents (BOLs, pick tickets, freight bills)
  • Ensure all shipment paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant before loads leave the facility
  • Process and post shipments in ERP systems and maintain digital records
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound carriers
  • Verify carrier/load information and manage check-in/check-out processes
  • Coordinate dock assignments in partnership with warehouse/union staff
  • Schedule pickups and communicate with carriers as directed
  • Enter, update, and process customer orders accurately in ERP systems
  • Generate inventory and shipment reports
  • Maintain data integrity across systems (orders, shipments, inventory)
  • Calculate and document additional shipment-related charges
  • Ensure accurate information is provided for customer invoicing
  • Support proper freight billing processes
  • Assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventory
  • Help ensure alignment between system inventory and physical stock
  • Partner closely with Logistics Director, Warehouse Manager, and Customer Service
  • Adjust scheduled loads and respond to operational changes in real time
  • Act as the administrative hub connecting shipping, warehouse, and customer-facing teams
  • Maintain organized records (digital and paperless systems)
  • Support daily office operations within the distribution center
  • Handle additional administrative tasks as needed
