About The Position

As an Account Representative, you will be providing the highest levels of customized transportation services to our customers. Your focus will be growing and managing your own portfolio of business with a key customer account(s). You'll constantly look to improve the customer experience by developing innovative logistics solutions and ensuring our customers freight delivers on time. In doing so you'll join a team of highly skilled, motivated and passionate individuals focused on building great relationships with our carriers and customers. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer and carrier relationships.
  • Be knowledgeable of all current service offerings and be able to communicate them to existing customers.
  • Participate in bid opportunities, both tactical and strategic (RFP process).
  • Negotiate pricing with both customers and carriers to generate profitable business opportunities.
  • Execute all daily freight opportunities for assigned accounts or territories.
  • Utilize market intelligence tools to advise clients and meet their daily transportation needs.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute shipments in Transportation Management System.
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
