About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Logistician to join their team in Panama City, Florida. This role provides life-cycle support for the U.S. Navy’s Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) family of systems. The Logistician will execute integrated logistics tasks in coordination with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) to ensure the readiness, tracking, and deployment of complex tactical C4I infrastructure. The Mid-Level Logistician applies intermediate knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) supply chain procedures to manage, track, and sustain deployable military hardware and software networks. This role requires an independent problem-solver who can coordinate material movements, maintain database accuracy, and collaborate with engineering teams to support expeditionary warfighters.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update inventory databases, ensuring absolute data integrity within Navy ERP or equivalent military asset tracking systems.
  • Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining technical logistics documentation, including provisioning data, kitting lists, and user support guides.
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse workflows, including physical receiving, inspection, serial number verification, and re-warehousing of unclassified and classified equipment.
  • Prepare complex transport paperwork, ensuring all shipments comply with Packaging, Preservation, Packing, and Marking (PPP&M) standards and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) disposition processes.
  • Identify potential component obsolescence and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues, reporting findings to senior logistics leads and engineers.
