About The Position

Millennium is seeking a Logistician to work onsite in Charleston, SC. The candidate must have an active secret clearance. This role involves ensuring that products/services and processes meet quality and safety standards, testing equipment for effective and safe operation, and interpreting plans and drawings. The Logistician will contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens, and should have experience in computer-aided drafting (CAD), preparing shop drawings, and understanding material specifications and fabrication methods. Key responsibilities include material management (shipping, receiving, movement) and inventory control (counts, issuing, maintaining stock). The role also requires reviewing and analyzing records in inventory management systems (GCSS-MC, CMPro, etc.) and familiarity with the MS Office suite, especially Excel. Exceptional communication and active listening skills are essential for maintaining proactive communication with leadership, ensuring alignment, supporting decision-making, and fostering transparency.

Requirements

Active Secret Level Clearance.
High School diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate.
5 years professional experience solving technical problems.
Familiarity with MS Office suite (especially Excel)
Exceptional communication and active listening skills, with an emphasis on clarity, consistency, and collaborative dialogue.

Nice To Haves

Experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods.
Experience with inventory management systems (GCSS-MC, CMPro, etc.)

Responsibilities

Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.

Experience includes testing equipment to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely.
Individual shall be able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
Should have experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods.
Material management (shipping, receiving, movement between locations, etc.)
Inventory control (counts, issuing, maintaining stock)
Review and analyze records in inventory management systems (GCSS-MC, CMPro, etc.)
Familiarity with MS Office suite (especially Excel)
Maintain ongoing, proactive communication with leadership to ensure alignment, support informed decision‑making, and foster a strong, transparent working relationship.
