About The Position

Directly support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), F/A-18 & EA-18G Fleet Support Team (FST) at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California. Duties will include analyzing and coordinating logistical functions in support of multiple engineering and sustainment efforts, including Structural, Avionics/Electrical Engineering, RDT&E (Research, Development, Test & Evaluation), SLAP/SLEP (Service Life Assessment/Extension Programs), OOR (Out of Reporting), and ISR (In-Service Repairs). The role also involves supporting high-tempo kitting operations associated with airframe changes, adapting to fast-paced and shifting requirements in a dynamic environment. Additionally, the logistician will assist in tracking and managing over 4,000 components across 361 part numbers, ensuring alignment with evolving directives from PMA-265 and other operational stakeholders. Coordination of procurement, inventory control, collaboration with FRCSW manufacturing, and outbound logistics to meet mission timelines and support readiness are also key functions.

Requirements

  • Current Secret clearance is required.
  • Three (3) to 10 years of experience in Management, Technical or Business analysis disciplines.
  • BS or BA degree in Engineering, Logistics, Science or a "Relevant Technical Discipline." (6 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.)
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, in an office environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with logistics systems and tools including: ATLS, OneTouch, WebFLIS, Navy ERP.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
