KBR is seeking a Logistician-Journeyman to join our team to support PMA-265 Finland IPT in support of the F/A-18 air vehicle, subsystems, armament, engine, airborne weapons, technical publications, spares, support equipment (SE), transportation and training/trainer efforts in Lexington Park, MD.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree. Additional experience is accepted in lieu of a college degree (+2 years for those with associates, or +4 years for those with a high school diploma).
  • At least six (6) years of experience in operation logistics support/maintenance engineering or Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) plus three (3) years of recent experience in acquisition logistics/maintenance engineering.
  • Three (3) years of experience in technical analysis of operational ILS requirements.
  • Three (3) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning.
  • Experience or education demonstrating ability to perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoW weapons systems/equipment.
  • FMS and Defense Security Assistance Programs, familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD forms related to Procurement Requests, Work Requests, Requisitions, and Contract Data Requirements List.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office productivity suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, is desired.
  • NAVAIR security/ technical transfer and foreign disclosure policies is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide logistical services for the Program Management Activity (PMA)-265 Finland IPT in support of the F/A-18 air vehicle, subsystems, armament, engine, airborne weapons, technical publications, spares, support equipment (SE), transportation and training/trainer efforts.
  • Develop LOA data; provide independent quantitative resource analysis of integration and sustainment resource requirements; assess case requirements to ensure effective F/A-18 operations and support programs; review and provide administrative and technical recommendations on aircraft configuration changes, ECPs, TDs, and provide Life Cycle Management (LCM) support services.
  • Coordinates, supports and attends program management reviews, technical coordination meetings, conferences, briefings, and other significant program activities and events occurring in CONUS or OCONUS, as required, to perform analysis in support of the PMA-265 Finland IPT.
  • Identify and analyze issues, record action items, recommend preferred courses of action to resolve action items, prepare draft minutes of the meetings, and archive documentation.
  • Supports technology transfer activities by developing required documentation, applying appropriate DoD markings, and routing packages for foreign disclosure release reviews.
