Logistic Dispatcher Supervisor Supervises: Dispatchers/Logistics Drivers Location: Phoenix, AZ Performs a combination of tasks to check out, track, receive, inspect, repair and store various tools and equipment. This is accomplished by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned. Checks out tools upon proper request. Completes requisite paperwork and makes necessary computer entries, if any, in order to effectively track the checked out tool. Inspects tools upon return, tags faulty tools and sends to repair area for evaluation. Restocks returned tools that do not require maintenance or repair to its proper location. Performs minor repairs or maintenance on tools. Upon proper request, distributes disposable products, such as cleaning fluids, paint and other like products.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Delivery experience required
  • Forklift experience required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer skills may be required for this position.
  • For safety reasons, it is imperative that the employee be able to read and speak fluent English.
  • Employees must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and use hands and fingers to perform assigned duties.
  • Positions may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, working at elevations, on uneven surfaces, or in confined spaces.
  • Employees must possess sufficient visual, hearing, communication, and motor skills to safely perform job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises Dispatchers/Logistics Drivers.
  • Responsible for on time collections and deliveries throughout the site and part crib inventory.
  • Track and ensure accurate log sheets are completed and filed.
  • Verify and submit correct employee time sheets daily.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and filed properly.
  • Work with Customer to resolve various issues, such as, locating missing part(s) or phone related problems.
  • Monitor SAP Dispatch calls on a daily basis.
  • Checks out tools upon proper request.
  • Completes requisite paperwork and makes necessary computer entries, if any, in order to effectively track the checked out tool.
  • Inspects tools upon return, tags faulty tools and sends to repair area for evaluation.
  • Restocks returned tools that do not require maintenance or repair to its proper location.
  • Performs minor repairs or maintenance on tools.
