About The Position

The Production Worker / Log Line Operator is responsible for moving and stacking logs onto pallets to create bulk log units. This role requires monitoring product quality, removing items that do not meet criteria, and preparing units for storage. The operator will also band units, apply stretch wrap, and cover them with waterproof material before moving them to a designated cooling area. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Good eye, hand and foot coordination
• Pass the company forklift training
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day
• Able to read and interpret scales

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift and production line experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Move and stack logs high to a pallet measuring 36x40 to create a bulk log unit
• Watch the quality of product & move product that doesn't meet criteria out of primary stack
• Move the full rack of logs to a designated cooling area once the rack is full
• Band the unit, stretch wrap the unit, place a waterproof cover over the unit and place outside for storage
• Other duties assigned
