About The Position

The Production Worker / Log Line Operator is responsible for moving and stacking logs to create bulk log units, monitoring product quality, and preparing units for storage. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Good eye, hand and foot coordination.
• Ability to pass the company forklift training.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
• Ability to read and interpret scales.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift experience.
• Prior production line experience.

Responsibilities

• Move and stack logs high to a pallet measuring 36x40 to create a bulk log unit.
• Watch the quality of product and move product that doesn't meet criteria out of primary stack.
• Once the rack is full, move the full rack of logs to a designated cooling area.
• Band the unit, stretch wrap the unit, place a waterproof cover over the unit and place outside for storage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
