About The Position

CareVet is seeking Locum Veterinarians for their Traveling DVM program in Texas. This role offers premium pay, paid travel, and complete flexibility in scheduling. The program is designed for experienced veterinarians who want to practice high-quality medicine while maintaining a good work-life balance, allowing time for travel and personal pursuits. The program provides the flexibility desired by veterinarians along with the stability, support, and earning potential they deserve, akin to travel nursing but with greater autonomy and a personalized schedule.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.
Licensure in the state(s) the candidate will be working.
Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners.
Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks.
Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal.
Strong fondness and understanding of animals.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of animal behavior.
Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals.
