About The Position

This role involves providing coverage in an Operating Room setting for outpatient ambulatory procedures across various specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics (excluding spinal surgeries), Gynecology, Podiatry, Urology, ENT, and Cardiac procedures involving new device placements. GI and Neuro cases are excluded. PACU responsibilities will include minor sedation procedures. There are no clinic facilities available. The coverage is for an immediate start for 6 months, with a possibility of extension, or an initial 3-month term with extension options. Each shift will be staffed with 2 physicians and appropriate support staff. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Board Certified.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association.
• Active Washington State license.
• Ability to complete credentialing within approximately 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage in the Operating Room for outpatient ambulatory procedures.
• Perform procedures in General Surgery, Orthopedics (excluding spinal surgeries), Gynecology, Podiatry, Urology, ENT, and Cardiac (new device placements).
• Handle PACU responsibilities including minor sedation procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians and support staff per shift.
