Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current NP or PA certification and licensure
- Experience in pediatric care preferred
- Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- 2-3 years of experience required
- Must have PICU experience
- Must be board-certified
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments for pediatric patients
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide clinical care including diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate actively in hospitalist team meetings
- Stay updated on the latest pediatric healthcare advancements
