About The Position

This is a contract position that requires an on-site presence, offering a unique opportunity to deliver quality care in the medical field. In this role, you will collaborate with our skilled oncology team to provide patient-centered care, conducting exams and implementing treatment plans for patients diagnosed with blood disorders and cancers. Your expertise will significantly contribute to our mission of enhancing patient outcomes and providing comprehensive oncology services in a supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
  • Basic proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Hematology Oncology or Medical Oncology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Administer chemotherapy and other oncological treatments
  • Monitor patient progress and manage side effects
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options and care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
