Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Florida
- Experience in critical care or similar medical environments preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced situations
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Must be board-certified
- ACLS required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical assessments and treatments to critical care patients
- Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare teams
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Perform procedures as needed and within scope of practice
- Document all patient interactions accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families about their health conditions and treatments
- Participate in case reviews and risk management initiatives
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory medical guidelines
