About The Position
Join a dynamic healthcare facility located in Lansing, Michigan, as a Therapeutic Medical Physicist specializing in Radiation Therapy. This outpatient setting offers comprehensive care across multiple locations with a varied patient population. The need for this position is immediate, with the potential for credentialing taking approximately 30 days. Requirements
- Board Certified ABR/ABMP (REQUIRED).
- Active Michigan license (REQUIRED).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues (REQUIRED).
- Local providers only; travel reimbursement applies to mileage.
Nice To Haves
- 5 years or longer preferred experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct chart checks including initial and weekly reviews.
- Perform machine QA and HDR treatment planning.
- Supervise SBRT treatment operations.
- Provide patient care in both outpatient and occasional inpatient settings.
- Utilize the Aria documentation system/EMR for patient records.
