Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state
- Completion of a residency in General Surgery with a focus on breast surgery
- Strong surgical skills and proficiency in breast surgical techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
- Must be board-certified
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform breast surgeries including lumpectomies, mastectomies, and reconstructions
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and surgical notes
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in breast surgery techniques
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and care
- Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives
