About The Position

This is an ongoing locum position for a General/Invasive Cardiologist requiring both clinic duties and call coverage. The role involves managing new and established patient visits, outpatient clinic work, inpatient rounding, and interpretation of imaging and diagnostic tests. The position supports one Advanced Practice Provider (APP) but does not include supervisory responsibilities. The workday is 8 hours, Monday through Friday, with a call expectation of 1:2. This commitment is for two weeks per month.

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)
• Documentation of 50 clinical cases performed in the last 12 months
• Documentation of 25 TEEs performed in the last 12 months
• Candidates with IMLC or awaiting licensure will be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Proctoring may be necessary, contingent on the procedures and interpretations performed.

Responsibilities

• Manage new and established patient visits.
• Perform outpatient clinic work.
• Conduct inpatient rounding.
• Interpret imaging and diagnostic tests.
• Perform diagnostic catheterizations (optional).
• Perform Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
• Perform Cardioversions.
• Perform Loop implantations and explantations.
• Provide call coverage (1:2 expectation).
