Requirements

DDS or DMD from an accredited school.
Active state dental license.
CPR certification.
DEA license, or be in the process of obtaining one.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance.
Lead dental assistants, hygienists, and other staff to coordinate patient care and treatment.
Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, procedures, and patient progress.
Stay current on developments in dentistry, attend seminars, and pursue ongoing education.
Follow ethical and legal standards, regulatory guidelines, and patient-confidentiality requirements.
