About The Position

VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley (VCA VSV) is a steadily expanding Emergency and Specialty hospital group in Woodland Hills, California, seeking Locum Emergency Veterinarians. As an ER doctor at VCA VSV, you will have the full support of eight board-certified specialists (Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Radiologist, and Surgery) who work collaboratively to ensure the best patient outcomes. The location is staffed by a progressive team of ER doctors and a highly skilled group of RVTs, VTSs, and Assistants. ER doctors have primary case responsibility, communicating closely with referring clinics, and coordinating consultations and transfers to specialty services. The management philosophy is centered around customer service for patients, owners, and referring veterinarians, fostering a team-focused, patient care-oriented environment with encouraged collaborative decision-making. The goal is to empower staff to be fully engaged on the ER floor, providing the best care and service possible. With over 100 employees, VCA VSV has a highly-dedicated administration team.
