About The Position

Oaklands Dental is seeking a Locum Associate Dentist to provide coverage two days per week, with the potential for an extended term or transition into a long-term associate role. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-supported schedule, build meaningful patient relationships, and practice alongside experienced clinicians in a collaborative environment. You'll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact while enjoying a steady flow of patients and strong clinical support. The practice has been caring for families throughout the Victoria community for over 20 years and has a reputation for patient-centered care, strong relationships, and comprehensive treatment options for patients of all ages. This is a full-scope general dentistry environment where you'll have exposure to a broad range of procedures, including advanced restorative treatment, complex endodontics, surgical extractions, implant dentistry, Invisalign®, and orthodontic treatment. Mentorship and case support are available for dentists looking to continue expanding their clinical skills and confidence.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
Valid CPR certification
Domiciled in Canada
Professional, dependable, and collaborative
Effective communication with patients and team members
Enjoy treating patients of all ages
Pride in delivering high-quality care in a positive and supportive environment

Responsibilities

Provide dental coverage two days per week.
Practice full-scope general dentistry.
Perform advanced restorative treatment, complex endodontics, surgical extractions, implant dentistry, Invisalign®, and orthodontic treatment.
Collaborate with experienced clinicians and a supportive clinical team.
Build meaningful patient relationships.
Utilize advanced technology for diagnosis, patient education, and treatment acceptance.
