We are seeking two Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). The first CRNA will begin orientation on August 31, with their first shift scheduled for September 1. The second CRNA's orientation is set for August 21, starting their first shift on August 24. The role involves working in the Operating Room and participating in call duties. Approximately 15% of cases are inpatient and 85% are outpatient. Weekend call is required one weekend per month, and weekday call is 1-2 days per week. The schedule is Monday to Friday with 5 shifts of 8 hours. Room time is at 0715, with anesthesia personnel expected to arrive between 0630 and 0645. CRNAs will collaborate with an MD Anesthesiologist and must demonstrate the ability to work independently during regular hours and when on call. The case load predominantly includes outpatient cases such as surgical and endoscopic procedures. OB procedures encompass labor epidurals and cesarean sections. Additional cases will cover orthopedics, endoscopy, general surgery, urology, and ENT. While experience with nerve blocks is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. However, proficiency in administering OB labor epidurals and spinal anesthesia for cesarean sections is essential. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is EPIC.
