About The Position

This is a float position covering Clare, Gladwin, & West Branch. The role primarily operates out of Clare with no OB call requirements. The CRNA will be responsible for a variety of cases and procedures, utilizing EPIC for EMR and dictation. Call coverage options are available with a 1:3 ratio for weeknight and weekend call. The work schedule is Monday-Friday with 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

• ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications.
• Must have provided CRNA-related services to at least 75 patients within the past 12 months (case logs required).
• Must hold a Michigan license exclusively (IMLC consideration is an option).

• Training available for regional blocks for those needing refreshers.

Responsibilities

• Provide CRNA-related services to patients.
• Perform scopes, routine laparoscopic abdominal procedures, ophthalmology (cataract surgeries), podiatry, orthopedics, vascular, cardiology (TEEs and cardioversions), and other surgical procedures requiring general anesthesia, MAC, and optional regional blocks.
• Cover call shifts with a 1:3 ratio, responding within 1 hour.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and dictation.
• Participate in orientation and proctoring for 1-2 business days.
