About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum position. This role involves providing anesthesia services in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings. The initial contract is for 13 weeks with the possibility of extension. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekend coverage, and shift options include 5x8 or 4x10. No call obligations are required. The CRNA will work with a 1:1 ratio to an anesthesiologist and utilize the EPIC EMR system. Competence with healthy pediatric patients is essential, with a focus on lower-acuity cases.

Requirements

• Current Board Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications per American Heart Association standards.
• Competence with healthy pediatric patients.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Must not be a licensing candidate.

Nice To Haves

• Obstetric (OB) experience.
• Experience managing a full range of anesthesia cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings.
• Manage a full range of anesthesia cases, with a focus on lower-acuity pediatric cases.
• Administer anesthesia for case types including orthopedic, pediatric, urological, gastrointestinal (GI), interventional radiology, head and neck, catheterization lab, spinal procedures, and epidurals.
• Work with a 1:1 CRNA to anesthesiologist ratio per shift.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient charting.
