Requirements

  • Current and valid CRNA certification and state licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
  • Associate-level experience in anesthesiology or related clinical settings
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and patient monitoring
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills in emergency situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with medical teams and patients
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as required by contract assignments
  • BCLS and ACLS certifications are required
  • Must be comfortable with spinal, epidural, and US-guided regional anesthesia
  • Fully independent practice
  • Board certification required

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
  • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels throughout procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
  • Manage post-anesthesia care and provide appropriate pain management interventions
  • Document all anesthesia-related activities accurately and in compliance with medical standards
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate resuscitation measures when required
  • Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and recovery expectations
  • Maintain a sterile and organized work environment in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in anesthesiology
