About The Position
Join our team! We are seeking a skilled and dependable Locksmith to help maintain safe and secure facilities throughout the district. This is a Full-Time Position within the Maintenance Department. Help us keep our students, staff, and schools safe every day!
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
Nice To Haves
- Locksmith, commercial door hardware, or related maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of locks, keys, door hardware, and basic security systems
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, replace, and maintain locks, door hardware, and related security equipment
- Cut keys, rekey locks, and maintain district keying systems
- Troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, and locking mechanisms
- Assist with electronic access-control hardware and systems
- Respond to routine and emergency locksmith needs at district facilities
- Maintain accurate key, lock, inventory, and work-order records
- Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Operations, and campus staff
