About The Position

As a Spa - Locker Room & Pool Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a relaxing, five-star experience for every guest. You will maintain immaculate locker rooms, relaxation lounges, and pool areas while providing attentive, personalized assistance and escorting guests throughout the Spa facilities. Responsibilities also include maintaining a consistent supply of fresh linens, towels, guest amenities, and other essential supplies to ensure a seamless and luxurious Spa experience. Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and email communication.
  • Polished, calm, and professional demeanor and high attention to detail.
  • A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or food & beverage is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly, conduct facility tours, and orient visitors to spa, locker room, and pool amenities.
  • Anticipate guest needs by offering amenities such as chilled water, fresh juices, warm/cold neck wraps, plush robes, slippers, and rolled towels.
  • Assist pool servers with running food and beverages or clearing empty containers from loungers.
  • Maintain pool and lounge areas by arranging chairs, adjusting umbrellas, and ensuring seating accommodations are pristine.
  • Serve as the dedicated caretaker of the locker rooms, steam rooms, saunas, hot/cold plunges, and showers.
  • Maintain pristine, well-organized vanity areas, ensuring high-end toiletries, grooming supplies, and hygiene products are consistently replenished and beautifully presented.
  • Monitor supply levels and communicate restocking needs to the Spa Supervisor and/or Spa Manager to support a seamless five-star guest experience.
  • Continuously clear used linens, towels, and robes, transferring them to laundry operations.
  • Perform routine upkeep of the indoor/outdoor pool deck, changing rooms, and fitness studio floors, glass, and counters.
  • Monitor safety, chemical/water cleanliness levels, and environmental comfort, reporting maintenance or safety hazards immediately.
  • Perform cashier functions at the Spa Café, accurately processing guest transactions while maintaining all established food and beverage service standards and applicable Health Department requirements.
  • Support fellow employees in the successful performance of their duties by providing assistance with both operational and administrative responsibilities as needed.
  • Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).
  • Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.
  • Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
