About The Position

The primary function of the Locker Room Attendant is to provide the highest quality locker room service to our members and guests. He/she will welcome members/guests into the locker room and familiarize them with the layout and services. The Locker Room Attendant will create an environment that facilitates a welcoming, enjoyable golf club experience.

Requirements

  • Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
  • Comfortable interacting with members and guests.
  • Helpful, friendly, pleasant, hard-working and dependable.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license as this position requires driving a company golf cart throughout the property.
  • Able to communicate in the English language.
  • Able to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.
  • Able to perform multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment/machinery.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds.
  • Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in a country club or golf resort preferred.
  • Second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate JW Marriott Turnberry Miami Resort & Spa service standards in all interactions and ensure members/guests have an enjoyable experience.
  • Tend to the needs of members and guests and anticipate requests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the locker room including lockers, vanity area and bathroom(s) according to JW Marriott Turnberry Miami Resort & Spa standards.
  • Assign lockers to members/guests.
  • Maintain lockers according to management direction.
  • Maintain locker room supplies to sufficiently operate the facility on a day-to-day basis.
  • Work at a consistent pace with changing business volume and demands.
  • Report all maintenance issues to Manager.
  • Communicate with Manager to ensure all guests/members requests are fulfilled.
  • Maintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities, events and tournaments.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
